During my recent stay at The Annex in Bahir Dar, I had a truly delightful experience. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The cozy ambiance made me feel right at home. The stunning garden surrounding the property added to the charm of the place. The owner, Negist, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. She kindly assisted me in arranging a tuk-tuk and a boat trip, making my exploration of the area seamless. What impressed me the most was Negist's dedication in preparing a delicious breakfast for me every morning, even waking up at 5 am! The breakfast truly was excellent and kept me energized for the day ahead. my stay at The Annex exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to choose this lovely guesthouse again.
While The Annex is not located very close to Tana Lake, it is still easily accessible within a 15-minute walk or a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride. The only drawback I encountered was the hot weather, which made the room a bit warm.

The rooms at B&B The Annex were so cozy, I felt like I was staying in my own little haven. I loved the private bathroom, it had a bath or shower - perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. As an old people, having this kind of comfort is important to me.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the shower pressure. It was a bit weaker than I prefer, but others may still find it enjoyable.

The rooms at The Annex were absolutely incredible! They were clean, spacious, and had a cozy vibe that made you feel right at home. The private bathroom with a bath or shower was a great touch, giving you your own little sanctuary to relax and unwind. As a vegetarian/vegan guest, it was also wonderful to have a B&B that catered to our dietary preferences.
Honestly, there wasn't much to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I would say that the shower pressure could have been stronger. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others might not mind it at all.

We had an amazing stay at a family-run B&B with a beautiful patio/garden where we could relax. the location was perfect, situated in a quiet residential area but still within walking distance to everything. the family was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with tips for excursions and making our stay memorable. And of course, the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this place, especially if you prefer a more intimate setting over a big hotel. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 👌.
